Random Tips For A Better Life

1. Plug in your headphones and listen to music all the time. By doing this even if someone is abusing you it will sound like music to your ears.


2. Always have a poor memory... or atleast pretend to have a poor memory. And make sure everyone knows that you have a poor memory. By doing this you won't need to remember irrelevant dates, people and places.


3. ummm... I forgot.


I guess these 2 tips are enough. Practice them as many times as you can and i guarantee you a life of peace and unending bliss. Amen.

Studying is boring!!!

Edit: Year 2012. I've been monitoring my Stats recently and I found that this particular post seems to be attracting the highest number of views. And I was really excited about that... But then I dwelled deeper into the traffic source and realised that people were coming over here because their search engines showed this pic in their results. Looks like studying is a globally boring phenomenon. Anyway there's my claim to fame. 

I have an exam in Hydraulic Machines and Systems on Friday. Don't even know why we have this subject cuz I'm not planning on becoming a plumber. Anyway me and 2 of my friends (Lalit and Satya) decided to sit down and finish off a few chapters... OK at least one chapter. And true to my word we completed one chapter... IN 5 HOURS!!!

It's a bit of an achievement considering the fact that none of us were really up to the task (meaning we didn't want to study). All we had was a text book and some notes. My notebook in particular looked like it just came back from the Kargil War... so its obvious that we took 5 hours to finish one chapter.

Come on studying is REALLY boring. First of all the lectures are never interesting. The lecturers themselves look like they're asleep half of the time!!! And the textbooks look like dictionaries. Frankly i find a dictionary more interesting...

Being a good student (??!!) I'd rather watch videos and pictures on this subject than go through a humongous textbook all day. Oh well... i still need to study for that Hydraulics exam... and only 2 days left!!! noooo!!!! I wish i had 2 more days... :(
